Charles James Blomfield

A British divine, classicist, and a Church of England bishop. He was unusual in becoming a Bishop of London not from an ecclesiastical, aristocratic or landowning background. While he visted Eton, he declined a scholarship there. He was a good and well respected scholar, before he joined the Church. He joined the Privy Council and became the Bishop of London. He had sxi children with his first wife, Anna Maria Heath, and eleven with his second wife, Dorothy Cox.
