John Tindal De Veulle

Born to John de Veulle and Anne Eliza de Veulle, with a twin brother Acton who died in 1851, John Tindal attended King’s College London from 1848 to 50. The Channel Islands Census of 1851 shows he was born in 1831 and baptism record shows he was baptised 23rd October 1830. Both he and his brother are reported to have a ‘KIA or early death’ stamp, but for John, his death could not be traced as to what reason. Acton has been recorded as the head of his own household in the 1851 Channel Islands Census, there is a chance that he either moved out or their father died.
