Joseph Dixon

Roman Catholic archbishop of Armagh, in Northern Ireland. Ordained priest in 1829 and became Professor of Sacred Scripture and Hebrew at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, in 1834. He became the archbishop of Armagh and primate of all Ireland in November 1852. He died in 1866.
