Mary Sophia Bray was born circa 1746. In 1788, she married Sir Alexander Hood, 1st Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas. They had no children, and his title died with him in 1815, though Mary remained the Viscountess Bridport until her own death in 1831.
