Born in 1776, the first son of Wilson Bradyll, Braddyll, heir to a large but depleted estate in Cumberland and Lancashire, retired from the Guards after Peninsular service. He came into Parliament on Lord de Dunstanville’s interest in 1818. He voted with opposition against the Windsor establishment, 22 and 25 Feb. 1819, but with government on the case of Wyndham Quin, 29 Mar., and against Tierney’s censure motion, 18 May 1819. No speech in the House is known and he did not seek re-election. He died 10 July 1862. He was also in the army, rising to the ranks of Lieutenant-Colonel, and was an amateur artist. He helped to arrange the refurbishment of Conishead Priory.
