- Description
- A large statue base in a coarse soft yellow limestome, with a very porous surface. Intact on the left, damaged and missing the lower front right corner, and to a lesser exten the upper rear right corner. Most of the frontal epigraphic field is preserved (H 73.3 cm, W 57 cm max), but the ends of all lines after line 2 are lost. Moulding top and bottom, which extend around the sides, but not to the rear, which is straight and roughly finished. The top of the basis projects in square section above the moulding, by some 17.5cm. There are two small indentations on the top, but the middle and rear right side of the top are missing. No traces of footholes. The gap at the end of the lines increases steadily from c.8cm in line 4, to 10-12 cm by line 11.
