- line.2: Bivona (1994) tentatively suggests a praenomen of Lucius, presumably following the praenomen of his father.
- line.4: The 'F' in 'front' in line 4 has a long foot, which gives the impression of being an 'E'.

- Large grey limestone cippus. Rounded top. Missing top left corner. Sides abraded. Left side tapers slightly, and is narrower at the base. Rear is mostly flat. Traces of modern red paint.

Rufeius Laetus is here recorded as a Roman citizen, of the tribe Quirina, although the name Rufeius is not otherwise attested. As Bivona (1994) notes, it is possibly an error for Rufreius or Rufrius, but need not be.
