Apparatus criticus

  • Text of autopsy;
  • line.2: Bivona (1994) tentatively suggests a praenomen of Lucius, presumably following the praenomen of his father.
  • line.4: The 'F' in 'front' in line 4 has a long foot, which gives the impression of being an 'E'.

commentary

Rufeius Laetus is here recorded as a Roman citizen, of the tribe Quirina, although the name Rufeius is not otherwise attested. As Bivona (1994) notes, it is possibly an error for Rufreius or Rufrius, but need not be.
