  • line.2: Although Bivona (1994) restores a T as the first visible letter of line 2, the top bar is evidently not wide enough for this to be the case. Evident at the end of the line, and not recorded by Bivona, is another letter, which has a tall, straight letter with serifs, potentially an F.

Fragment of yellow-white marble plaque. The front face was highly polished, but now slightly obscured with rough deposit in bands. Rear is flat. Depth of stone increases at base.

In potentially reading [Cest]ia, here, Bivona (1994) places too much weight on seeing the first visible letter of line 2 as a 'T', which does not appear likely.
