Description
A thick paving slab of the local stone, re-used as a tomb cover in late-antiquity and then re-used again in the settlement circuit wall of the Norman period. The surface is rather worn, and damaged in the upper left corner. The rear appears uneven.

The only funerary inscription to date from Segesta, this provides important evidence for the continuity of settlement in Segesta in the sixth century CE in the period of the Gothic domination.
