Description
Described by Rose, after an aopograph from Thomas Thorp, as a 'marmor', found among the tombs near the ruins of Acrae. The state of the stone is not described, and the use of 'marmor' is likely simply to be generic (i.e. such stones generally referred to as 'marbles' in this period), rather than a true representation of the original material.
