Description
Described by Crispi as 'una lapide sepolcrale di pietra dura', of oblong shape, seemingly intact but with some damage to the upper left corner and left edge of the text depicted in the published drawing, which latter suggests some form of stele. Described by Crispi as 5.5 palms tall, 2 palms wide, and more than 1 palm deep. A Sicilian palm in the earlier 19th century was approximately 24.2 cm in length.
