commentary
Brugnone (1974) notes that the vague details of discovery are insufficient to establish whether the this tombstone was related to the tomb near which it was found, or whether it was re-used. The text itself makes no sense. Brugnone (1974) wonders whether the text is intended to call to mind a funerary inscription with the dedication Th. K., and with an indication of the age of the deceased at the end. Brugnone posits that this text was a mason's exercise or the work of an apprentice.
