The Christian funerary inscription opens with the formula σὺν θεῷ Χρ(ιστῷ) κ(αὶ) [πατρὶ] | αὐτοῦ (ll. 1–2). The deceased, named Sabina (cf. NScav. 1905, 397 no. 3, from Syracuse; IG XIV 264 (ISic001083), from Agrigento), is described by the formula ἡ δούλη τοῦ [θεοῦ] (l. 3), which is characteristic of Christian funerary inscriptions (cf. Grossi Gondi 1920, 139–162).
