Physical description

Support

Description
Two non-joining fragments of a marble plaque with Greek letters. The first (Manganaro's second) preserves a moulding on the right and above, preserving an upper right corner, while broken on left and below; the second (Manganaro's first) is broken on all sides, but shows a division between two columns of text, and as Manganaro rightly notes should come from lower down in the text therefore. Manganaro suggests these are fragments from a stele, given the form and the moulding. Fragment (a) is H 14 cm x W 9 cm; fragment b is H 10.5 x W 7.
