  • Text from autopsy, after Manganaro; in his drawing (reported by SEG), Manganaro further expands the text and adds interpuncts which are not attested in the surviving part of the stone.;
  • 1: Manganaro: Γ; the vertical is compatible with Γ, Ι, Τ
  • 4: Manganaro: [μ]ητ[ροπόλεως]; part of the Mu is clearly visible on the stone.

Two joining fragments of a white marble (with veining) plaque. The left margin is intact, but it is broken on all other sides. The reverse is also inscribed, also in Greek.

Tall, fairly narrow letters, but well spaced, simply cut with minimal serifs. Beta and Rho have very small eyes (closed). Alpha with straight bar.

The restoration proposed by Manganaro for line 2 is clearly plausible and aligns with the width suggested by the proposed restoration of line 3. The production of a public text of this sort in Greek in the later imperial period is notable, even if the text cannot be closely dated.
