Apparatus criticus

  • The text follows the edition proposed in Manganaro 1982, p. 500, which was itself derived from a proposal of Degrassi (so Manganaro 2005: 186 no.2), with the only modification being the expansion of the abbreviation sing. However, it is worth noting that the same publication includes a handwritten sketch of the inscription (fig. 4, p. 498), which suggests some alternative readings: the numeral restored at the end of line 10 is XIIIS, not X[-]; in line 11, the numeral following sexviris is restored as XIII, not X[-]; and in line 12, the restoration amplius is proposed at the end of the line instead of leaving a gap.
