Physical description

Description
2 joining fragments of a marble plaque. Rear is roughly chiselled flat, as are the sides. The plaque was re-used in antiquity for a relief, which rotated the stone through 90 degrees in comparison to the inscription which was previously traced upon the stone. Traces of the inscription are preserved along the right and lower borders of the relief, and at occasional points in the relief where the original surface of the plaque is preserved (as it is on the borders). Consequently much of line 1 is preserved, traces of 2, and ends of another c.8 lines.
