commentary
The epitaph presents an acclamation to the deceased (occasionally accompanied by the epithet), characteristic of the Hellenistic age: see IMusCatania 5 = ISic003111. It is difficult to establish a date for the inscription also because the text is difficult to read: it is not possible to read the name of the deceased.
