The inscription is too fragmentary to be interpreted: Korhonen thinks it was an epitaph and cautiously restores the beginning of a name at l. 2 [Ἰο]υλι-. Since it is not possible to determine the structure of the epitaph, l. 3 can contain the indication of the age of the deceased ([ἔζησ]εν) or the dedication verb ([ἐποίησ]εν).
