commentary
The fragmentary epitaph presents the structure with the formula ἐνθάδε κεῖται (or κῖτε, as frequent in the Sicilian epigraphy), followed by the name of the deceased (Σα[---]) and the age (introduced by the participle of ζάω): in this case is not possible to determine the gender of the deceased and thus the form of the participle.
