commentary
This inscription is a fragment of a Christian epitaph, with the indication of the date of death usually introduced by the present or aorist indicative of τελευτάω, but perhaps in this case by a participle [θαν]ῶν, such as in IMusCatania 201 = ISic003294. The day of death was probably in the lacuna at l. 3. Korhonen observes that this inscription is not connectable with IG 14.564 = ISic001383.
