- Description
- Orsi reports 6 joining fragments forming the upper part of a large marble plaque, together with three further fragments noted in the inventory as apparently belonging to the same (although only one published and two referred to in NSA 1915). The main set of fragments providet he overall width of 57 cm; they have a total height of 32 cm; the largest of the other three fragments is 14.5 x 14 cm according to Orsi.

- Fine-grained, banded, white, calcitic marble, likely Parian-2. Optical microscopy: heteroblastic to homeoblastic fabric with triple points, mosaic microstructure, strained crystals. Digital microscopy: homeoblastic to heteroblastic fabric. dolomite in thin section?? (identification based on pXRF, digital microscopy, XRD, optical microscopy, stable isotopes analysis, EPR, LA-ICP-MS)
