commentary
The piece was reported by Orsi in NSA for 1902 on the basis of information sent to him by his assistant R. Carta, in turn at second hand from the Ispettore Campagna; however the stone is recorded in the museum inventory as acquired by the museum on 24 July 1902. It has not however so far been identified in the museum.
