Description
Four fragments of stucco plaster bearing traces of an incised inscription on which traces of red paint remain; the fragments are associated with other stucco fragments all of which are in turn associated with architrave elements of the so-called 'contraforte' or 'basamento curvilineo' above what is now know to be the cavea of the theatre.

Without further information, such as the dimensions of the letters, it is impossible to know whether these fragments relate to e.g. a building inscription or a more ephemeral text, but the fact that they are described as both incised and painted, encourages a view that they are more formal, while the brief description of form perhaps suggests a later rather than earlier date.
