Description
Sarcophagus head, reused as a funerary stele. The front face, smooth, is delimited above and below by two smooth protruding bands, on the upper face, by the lateral ends, two deep quadrangular recesses, of which the one on the left still retains part of an iron grappa. Lower corners missing, with chips on the front face. The inscription, on five lines, is placed in the central part of the slab, except for the first line, engraved on the upper projecting band.

The formula χρηστὴ καὶ ἄμεμπτε is almost entirely restricted to the southeast of Sicily (Syracusae and Catina).
