Provenance

Place of origin: Segesta
Provenance found: Found during the excavations in the area of the summa cavea of the theatre in Segesta during the surveys started by G. Nenci in 1992. According to the editor the fragment belongs to the same archaeological context as the inscriptions from Grotta Vanella.
