commentary
According to Arena, this could be either a singular dative of the name Ἀλκιμίδης or a plural nominative, thus referring to a clan of dedicators (cf. Ἡρακλεῖδαι). Agostiniani (1999), on the other hand, is inclined towards a feminine noun with an -αι ending typical of the Elymian texts found in Grotta Vanella, Segesta.
