commentary

An interesting aspect of this document is highlighted by Antonaccio and Shea 2015, p. 60: «[...] it is interactive. It could only be read when the vessel was raised and tipped towards the drinker’s face. The user was already drinking in all likelihood when he or she read the imperative, which further demanded that the remainder of the wine in the vessel be consumed». For a similar case see ISic020712).
