commentary
According to the editor, this would be an imitation of a Greek name, with the Greek masculine nominative ending in -ος (as in ISic020754, Agostiniani 2018, p. 192, n. 144). The letter in the centre of the inscription should not be read as an integral part of the inscription, but could be interpreted as one of the well-known and recurrent signs placed on ceramics, both local and imported, in the form of a cross and perhaps as a trademark.
