commentary
According to the editor, the first part of the inscription could be the abbreviated form of ÏÎčÏαÏÎčÎżÎœ, which occurred on three documents from the East grave 31 of the Archaic necropolis, twice in full (ISic020735 and ISic020736), once abbreviated (ISic020737), and (abbreviated) on one vessel from grave 182 (ISic020764). The word could indicate the contents of the vessel (see ISic020737) or it could be, in this abbreviated form, a trade mark (see Agostiniani 2018, 184).
