Initial formula, followed by a list of men's names (nom. or nom.+gen.). At least two of the intended victims are further qualified as Herakleidai. (Jordan)
La présence du patronymique n'est pas systématique; certains individus sont qualifiés du terme Ηέρακλείδας qui doit être un phylétique. Noms grecs : 1 Νίκυλλος, 2 Μνάμων, Δενδίλος, Αϊνων, 3 Ξένις, "Αθανις, Σαΰρις, 4 Δίων, 5 Πιθθίας, 6 Άγάθυλλος, Συνετός, 7 Ξένων. Les autres noms doivent être indigènes. Πίακις, 1. 5, pourrait être en rapport avec le toponyme Πίακος connu par Et. de Byzance et par des monnaies du Ve siècle. Le nom Ταμμαρος, 1. 4, est apparu sur des tuiles de Monte lato, Bull. 1977, n°615.' Καποσος apparait a Gela n° 131. Le premier membre de Ναεπονος 1. 2, rappelle celui de Ναυεροτοσ n° 38 1. 4, et de Ναυεριάδας 1. 18 : s'agirait-il d'un nom hybride dont le second membre serait grec, HPN, p. 380? Semblent attestés pour la première fois les anthroponymes non helléniques Άποντιος 1. 3, 'Ρασφαρμαυα 1. 4, Ίχαιον, Μαμμαρειος, Ζοξτα 1.5. (Dubois)
Destaca la formula inicial. exclusiva de esta maldición, en la que la creación de un sustantivo abstracto demuestra un conocimiento del lenguaje culto y elaborado. Lo que sì es común es extender la maldición a los descendientes el enemigo. (Lopez-Jimeno)
L'utilizzo del nome ℎɛ̄ρακλείδας lascia supporre che il defissore si sia compiaciuto di riprendere l'uso del terzo nome che vedeva usato nei documenti pubblici: non è per denotare il valore politico del testo nè ad evitare la sovrapposizione di nomi, ma unicamente a conferire autorità e spessore ufficiale al documento stesso.
