tessera (civic)?

commentary

This is a lamina bearing a name followed by a patronymic, both of which are well attested in Sicily (see Sudano 2015, 703) and both featuring doric traits. The document has been interpreted as a civic tessera (see Cordano 1992) or as a votive tessera (Orsi 1897, 262-263; Manganaro 2003, 152) applied over an anathema, although it does not have any application hole.
