Layout
The lines of text begin at the left edge of the sheet (a margin of ca. 1-2 mm) and run across to the right edge leaving a right margin as narrow as ca. 1-2 mm (L.6) or as wide as ca. 7 mm (LL. 5, 9, 11): an effort was made to avoid ending a line in the middle of a word but this has happened at least between L. 1 and L. 2, and again between L. 8 and L. 9. Top margin ca. 1-2 mm; bottom margin unknown (support is broken along the entire bottom edge).

commentary

One outstanding question concerns the inconsistent application of tribe and phratry designations. Why is the buyer identified by both tribe and phratry, while the first guarantor is identified only by phratry, and the rest of the guarantors are not identified by either tribe or phratry?
