commentary
This document is one of a large deposit (c. 150) of lead tesserae found in a storeroom of Athena's sanctuary at the archaeological site of Kamarina. The first is a name known in this part of Sicily as being that of one of Gelon's brothers-in-law (cf. Pi. N. I, v. 7 and Pi. N. IX, v. 3). The indication of the fratra seems to refer, as happens with other tesserae in which we find ἀπὸ νε̄́τας after the number (see ISic030152, ISic030174, ISic030186), to the third from last.
