commentary
This document is one of a large deposit (c. 150) of lead tesserae found in a storeroom of Athena's sanctuary at the archaeological site of Kamarina. The structure of this tessera can be compared to others from the same deposit in which the onomastic formula features the word hυιός preceded by a double nominative, which Masson (quoted by Cordano 1992, p. 55) assumed to be a form of asyndeton (see also ISic030199).
