commentary
This document is one of a large deposit (c. 150) of lead tesserae found in a storeroom of Athena's sanctuary at the archaeological site of Kamarina. The lamina appears to be used at least twice (see Cordano 1992, p. 65). The first text has not been erased in order to engrave the second, therefore it is clearly visible. For a similar reuse of tesserae see also ISic030197, ISic030198, and ISic030211.
