- Description
- Rectangular bronze tablet, estimated measurements by Ampolo, Magnetto and Porciani 2001 offer maxima of c.30 cm high x c.22 cm wide; border attached by nails to top edge only; 1 nail hole, upper left; upper right corner damaged, with possible traces of lower edge of nail hole.

- Layout
- The text fills the face of the tablet. Lines 1-3 are indented by c.2 letters, and line 2 is surely complete and ended with a vacat occupied by the now lost nail hole upper right. Lines 34 and 35 appear compressed (implying the engraver was aware when he began line 34 that the text would run over; the vacat of line 35 is only partial, as line 34 falls towards the lower edge as it proceeds).

Provenance
- Place of origin
- Nakone
- Provenance found
- The tablet is one of 8 illegally looted from the site of Rocca d'Entella, almost certainly in the spring of 1977 from a location in close proximity to the more recently excavated area in the centre of the ancient city in the 'eastern valley'. For the fullest discussion, see Ampolo 2021, esp. 91-93. Ampolo, Magnetto and Porciani 2001 demonstrate that the 8 tablets were preserved for an extended period in a single location, superimposed upon one another, probably in a container (a stone theka?), and were most likely found together also. Although reported, investigated, and published multiple times, the tablet remains unrecovered and in private hands.

The bibliography is intended to cover principal editions only. The site of Nakone remains unidentified, presumably in the same region of central western Sicily as Entella itself.
