Museo Archeologico Regionale di Marianopoli museum

The collection contains material principally deriving from 3 sites (Valle Oscura, Monte Balate and Monte Castellazzo). The red and black figure pottery is given prominence in most rooms, although there is a nice display of 3 stele (2 inscribed). The finds date principally to the 6th-4th Centuries BC (mainly from Castellazzo, presumed to be ancient Mytistraton), with a first room of prehistoric material
