Excellent collection of archaeological material from Modica and the surrounding area - as far as Scicli - with one or more cases devoted to each site. A lot of prehistoric material, some classical and Byzantine, and a good faunal collection (including shark teeth found near Modica) Very well arranged and organised, across a series of rooms. The undisputed highlight is the bronze Herakles of Cafeo
