Museo Archeologico Santi Furnari di Tripi
The neatly-curated collection derives entirely from the Hellenistic necropolis of ancient Abakainon on the outskirts of the modern town of Tripi. The high acidity of the soil has stripped many of the ceramics of their surface decoration, and there is an understandable focus on the metal items (gold and iron) and the stone stele and moulded bases. The collection is arranged over 4 rooms and one corridor on two levels of a restored palazzo, and is equipped with a number of IT panels
