Area Archeologica e Antiquarium di Solunto museum

There are two museum buildings at the site. The first, at the entrance, gives an overview of the site and its excavations, then treats some of the individual buildings and areas within the site. The inscriptions are here (from the theatre). The second, at the exit, contains the small finds, and begins with the archaic (indigenous and punic layers), then moves to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. There are numerous ceramics, some sculpture, some wall paintings and mosaics
